Once you have applied to Nescot, to get to you know better, we would like to invite you to one of our Meet the Tutor events. This is your opportunity to find out more about the course you’ve applied for, meet your tutors, and ask any questions you have about the course or about studying at Nescot.
These sessions are by invite only. If we send you a date that is not suitable, please get in touch with our Admissions team and we can reschedule.
Our Learning Support team will also be available during these sessions should you wish to speak to them.

Applying for a 19+ adult education course
Applications can be made online via our course pages. Simply click on the Apply Online button on your chosen course. We will then get in touch with you by email.
Depending on the course you apply for, we may invite you for an interview to check the course is right for you. In some cases you may be asked to take an aptitude test, or initial assessment of your literacy and numeracy skills. We will then offer you a place on the course. You will need to accept this offer, or you could lose your place.
In July we will write to you and invite you to come to enrol at Nescot in August, ready to start in September. If you apply after July we will ask you to attend enrolment in August, and you may then have your interview or assessment then, if necessary.
Applying for a university-level course
Students intending to study a full-time Higher Education course at Nescot should register and apply through UCAS.
Nescot’s UCAS code is N49.
The UCAS code for each course is shown on the course pages. If the course is still being validated you will see ‘contact us’. Please call us on 020 8394 3038 and we will be happy to help.
For enrolment on courses starting in September, you will need to have submitted your application to UCAS by January of the same year. If your application is later than this, then you may not be accepted on your first choice of course.
Applications for part-time courses should be made directly to Nescot by clicking on the ‘apply’ button for the relevant course.
There is no final date for applications to most of our higher education courses, but as some are in high demand you should apply as early as possible.
Once we receive your application, the Advice and Guidance team will be in touch. Depending on your circumstances and the course you have applied for, we will either make you a conditional or unconditional offer of a place, invite you for an interview, or offer you further information and advice.
