Course Overview
This intensive 3-week summer course (30 guided learning hours) is for adult students (19+) who want to improve their English reading and writing skills.
What the course covers
The intent is to support ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) students to enable them to access further study and or work.
- The course is unaccredited, so there are no formal exams.
- This course is aimed at students who are working at A2 CEFR level or above on assessment.
- Certificates of achievement will be issued at the end of the course.

Classes take place at Epsom & Ewell Hub, Global House, 2nd Floor, 1 Ashley Avenue, Epsom, Surrey, KT18 5AD
Fees and funding
Those who qualify as a ‘home’ student will be able to study this course for free.
(If you have permanent residence in the UK or have ‘settled’ status, you will normally qualify as a ‘home’ student. If you are unsure about if you qualify, you can contact our student finance team or speak to us when you come to enrol.)
If you are assessed as an overseas student you will be required to pay the course fee in full (£384) on enrolment.
Duration
Classes take place at Epsom & Ewell Hub on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10am to 1.15pm
