Students will sit two examinations in the Summer at the end of the course and take part in multiple practical experiments throughout the course in our modern, fully equipped, high quality labs.
This is a very intensive course, and students must be willing to spend additional time outside of the classroom completing revision and homework tasks. Full attendance is also extremely important due to the significant course content required to be delivered.
Although Nescot has an extensive learning resource centre through which to support learning, students will still need stationary, a calculator, AQA GCSE Biology textbook and a lab coat.
