Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements however, if you cannot demonstrate Level 2 ability in Literacy and Numeracy, you will be supported in working to achieve this. This may require some independent study.
What the course covers
The Award in Education and Training programme at Nescot College is an initial award, aimed at candidates who are:
- Pre-service and wish to explore the possibility of teaching in Post-16 education, or
- In-service and require an introduction to teaching in Post-16 education, or
- In-service and would like to progress to the full teaching qualification leading to QTLS status, or
- In-service and would like to progress to the teaching qualification leading to ATLS status for those with a more limited teaching role.
