Course Overview
T Level programmes are designed to provide progression routes into skilled and technical employment, higher or degree apprenticeships, or university.
They offer students a mixture of classroom learning and ‘on-the-job’ experience during a 45-day industry placement which gives students practical insights into the sector and an opportunity to embed knowledge learned in the classroom.
70-80% of the course will be classroom-based and 20-30% at a high-quality work placement.
Entry Requirements
Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and Maths. Students on this course will need to show commitment to the values of the early years sector. Once you have applied we will be in touch to arrange an interview.
A DBS check is a requirement for this course.
Assessment
Assessment is by coursework for each unit and work experience.
Fees and funding
Students aged 16 to 18, or those aged 16 to 24 with a valid EHCP, who are studying Further Education courses are not charged course fees.

Progression
On successful completion of the course you will have the skills and qualificatiuons to seek employment in the care industry, or to progress to a degree-level course or higher apprenticeship.
