Nescot students have been celebrating their GCSE and Level 2 results achievements. College and curriculum teams were delighted to welcome students as they came in to collect their results.
Nescot Principal and CEO, Julie Kapsalis, said: “Congratulations to all our GCSE and Level 2 students on their results. We are so proud of their achievements and hard work over the past year, and wish them the best of luck with their next steps. Thanks to our brilliant Maths and English team whose dedication and exceptional support have been key to our students’ success.”
Some of our students who came into college to collect their results, shared their thoughts with us on their accomplishments and the support they’ve received to help get them exam ready:
Charlie one of our Motor Vehicle students is very happy to pass his Maths and English GCSEs with a grade 4. He said, “My tutors are the reason that I’ve passed. They’ve helped me out with anything I was struggling with and pushed me to try to do my best in my lessons and revision”.
Olivia who’s continuing her Animal Care course at Nescot, is also delighted to pass her Maths and English with a grade 4. She added, “We did a lot of mock papers in both Maths and English that helped us with our exam preparation.”
Kealan is elated to pass his Maths GCSE with a grade 4. An Esports and Digital Marketing student at Nescot, he said, “As part of our revision we looked at a lot of useful websites and I’ve also learnt how to work by myself which has definitely helped me. I’m looing forward to celebrating my results.”
Elijah, one of Carpentry students is also thrilled to pass his Maths GCSE with a grade 4. He enjoys studying at Nescot and said that his tutor was very supportive.
Another student commented, “I’m absolutely blown away with my results, the support has been incredible. I would recommend anybody who has finished school with disappointing results to retake it here. It’s been a blast!”
