ENROLMENT

The enrolment process

Enrolment is the process of final registration before you join us for the start of the academic year. The process varies depending on whether you are joining us as a school-leaver, an apprentice, an adult learner or as a university-level student.

Please see the relevant section below and follow the instructions carefully as it will help you to enrol at the right time and avoid any unnecessary queues.

Enrolment for university-level

From Thursday 20 August 2026, you will be contacted by a member of the relevant curriculum team to confirm your intent to enrol, and your individual enrolment documentation will be emailed for you to e-sign and return. Please keep a close eye on your email inbox to ensure that you have received these and contact us if this is not the case.

Our enrolment will take place remotely, so you need to ensure that you have uploaded all relevant documents to your application prior to enrolment to ensure that your registration can be processed fully. DBS check

A DBS is a check on your criminal record with the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Most Nescot students do a placement as part of their course. Students on some courses may work with children and/or vulnerable people as part of their placement. These students will need a DBS check before they can start their placement.

For students aged 16-18, Nescot will organise this for you, but you will need to collect some forms of evidence of your identity, and bring them to college when you come to enrol. For adult students aged 19+, you should pay for your DBS check in our online shop.

You can find out more about which courses require a DBS check, and what to bring, below.

If you need help, or have any questions, please contact the Admissions team.
