I’ve always loved music, so it’s amazing to be studying it full-time. The teachers have a lot of experience in the industry themselves, so they have a huge amount of knowledge to share. The best project so far was when a senior A&R executive from a record label came to college and asked us to record a 30-second track for one of his musicians to sample. He gave us all feedback, and it was really cool.

This course has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. It’s a positive and supportive environment with opportunities that push you out of your comfort zone. The best bit is the end of year shows, working on West End style productions. You learn so much, it’s empowering watching a vision come to life and a great team bonding experience too. Seeing the passion my tutors have for the subject has inspired me to also consider teaching.
