Nescot's 14-16 progression pathway is designed for young people who are currently home schooled or would benefit from an alternative to the traditional school based curriculum. These students will have anxiety rather than significant behaviours. The 14-16 Unit at Nescot is not a Behavioural Pupil Referral Unit.

This study programme is aimed at young people who have a statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education, Health and Care Plan, want to secure paid employment and need support to do so.
