What the course covers
Students on all pathways will study English and maths at an appropriate level until they reach Level 2 or GCSE Grade 4-9. It is important that students provide evidence of prior achievement as part of their initial assessment. Stepping Stone qualifications are available for students who are assessed as needing more than one year to develop the skills required to achieve a complete level.
Nescot offers this pathway at two academic levels: Entry Level 2 (course code N5528) and Entry Level 3 (course code N5529). Once you have applied the teaching team will help to decide the most appropriate level for you.
Learning Pathways
Our focus is to prepare students for a life after college and improve their life chances and choices. We have developed a curriculum to give students a clear pathway through the department to further education, employment or supported living. Students will be assessed to ensure they join their chosen pathway at the right level and are able to progress.
