We understand that people return to education for all kinds of reasons. To help you begin your journey to a new career we offer a range of support to ensure that the transition to full-time education at Nescot runs as smoothly for you as possible.
Once you’ve completed an Access to Higher Education course with us, you’ll be fully prepared to progress to Higher Education, including HNC, HND, or degree-level study at a range of institutions.
All Access to Higher Education courses provide credits which contribute towards your UCAS tariff points for university applications. We also offer a range of Higher Education courses designed to help you continue your studies and progress in your chosen pathway.
Students applying for Access courses at Nescot are normally eligible for the government’s Advanced Learner Loan, which covers your course fees. If you go on to complete a university degree, the loan for your Access course is written off. For more details visit our Student Finance page, and to see the latest repayment figures please go to the government’s Advanced Learner Loan web page.
