Health & Social Care
If you enjoy working with people and want to make a real difference to their lives our courses will help you grow in confidence, independence and professionalism, preparing you for a rewarding career. You’ll gain real experience through placements and hands-on opportunities, bringing your learning to life.
Counselling
Taught by experienced, practising counsellors and psychotherapists, you will get a real insight into the profession. As one of the few BACP-accredited colleges offering specialist training in analytical psychodynamic counselling, we’ll support you every step of the way. On completion, you’ll be eligible to apply for BACP membership and registration, with in-house supervision provided to support your clinical practice alongside your placement.
Food Hygiene
Environmental health is a fast-growing industry with opportunities across a wide range of sectors. From protecting public health to improving environments in communities and workplaces, our courses offer a rewarding career where you can make a real difference while working in an exciting, ever-evolving field.
Healthcare Play Specialist
This work-based course prepares you to support children and families through play during healthcare experiences. You’ll build skills in research, reflection and professional practice, with flexible learning designed to fit around work and family life. Taught by experienced practitioners the course combines academic learning with real workplace experience.
Osteopathic Medicine
As part of your training, you’ll gain real clinical experience in our fully equipped osteopathy clinic, working with patients under expert supervision. You’ll be taught by knowledgeable and experienced tutors who are supportive, and after qualifying you’ can register with the General Osteopathic Council and start your career in a range of professional settings.
Science
Whether you’re just starting out, wanting to study at university or aiming for a professional career, our science courses offer flexible routes to suit you. From GCSE Biology to a degree-level Laboratory Scientist Apprenticeship, you’ll build practical skills, confidence and knowledge – preparing you for a wide range of science careers.
Our health, care & science courses
The T-level course is a great stepping stone, if you’re thinking of both health and social care. I find the learning relevant for both pathways. I enjoy the practical learning, especially our sessions in the Health Hub which is like a small simulated hospital ward. You get to learn how to use lots of different equipment, and for instance, how to take someone’s blood pressure or temperature.
