How to apply to study at Nescot.

Part-time courses
for adults

Over 19s may be able to study qualifications at Level 2 for FREE. Our expert team will help you navigate student finance. Studying part-time can help you reach your professional or personal goals. Nescot offers a wide range of courses, and we help you balance your studies with work or family commitments.

Why Study Part-Time?

Aim higher
Getting a new qualification through studying a part-time course could help you reach the next stage of your career. This could include specialist qualifications in areas such as food premises inspection, computing or electrical installation, or helping you learn the skills you need to step up to management with a qualification in team leading.

Start a new career
Many of our students take the opportunity to start a completely new and different career in an area they’ve always wanted to work in, like animal care, counselling, education, beauty therapy or hairdressing.

Start your own business
We offer a range of business courses that could help support entrepreneurs, such as qualifications in
bookkeeping, accounting, and team leading. Some of these courses are offered by distance learning,
making them even easier to fit into your busy life.

Learn new skills or start a hobby

Have you always wanted to refresh your maths and English skills? What about learning more about mental health, diabetes or nutrition? Or even learning more about a practical trade, like carpentry? We have plenty of courses and qualifications that could help.

I would recommend Nescot to anyone. It’s the perfect size: small enough that it feels like family, but big enough that you get access to amazing facilities. Teaching is my passion, and I’m so grateful to Nescot for helping me to follow my dream.
