Our passionate staff bring learning to life with trips and visits, helping you explore the world beyond the classroom. They’ll use their industry experience with companies such as British Airways, TUI and Virgin Atlantic, plus their destination knowledge to guarantee you get a firsthand insight into the travel and tourism industry.

With industry‑insight opportunities and realistic working environments you’ll gain the practical skills and experience that travel and tourism employers are looking for.  Alongside this, you’ll build a strong understanding of customer service, destination knowledge, operations and industry practice, preparing you for a wide range of career pathways. Turn your passion for travel into a career with Travel and Tourism.

Great facilities

We have a fully equipped cabin service room, which is set up like an aircraft so you can carry out cabin crew role-plays such as delivering services, dealing with emergencies and customer service scenarios.

Additional qualifications

To further boost your employability, you can also gain additional qualifications in:

  • Resort Representation
  • Cabin Crew
  • Aviation Operations on the Ground

These qualifications are highly valued by employers and will help you stand out in the competitive travel and aviation industry. Whether your goal is university or employment, the course gives you the skills, experience and industry knowledge to take the next confident step in your career.

Nescot’s partnership with the Cruise Career Springboard programme has been amazing! We were so lucky to visit all the different ships and have big names in the industry chatting to us. I was genuinely surprised by how many people work behind the scenes to keep everything running. I’d never really considered the cruise industry as a career option before, but it’s definitely on my radar now.
