We do a lot of practical lessons, which is much more interesting and helps me to learn. The teachers are helpful and supportive, and I’d definitely recommend the course. I want to be a physiotherapist in the future, and I like that we’re learning from people with experience in the industry.
The full-time Introductory Diploma in Public Services at Nescot is a one-year course aimed at students with an interest in a career in the Public Services. The course contains a mixture of theoretical lessons and practical sessions in the sports hall and college fields, as well as local outdoor activity centres.
This course enables students to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills that enable progression within specific areas of employment such as exercise and fitness, leadership support and sports coaching.
This course is the ideal starting point for students who wish to study public services as you will be trained in the different disciplines required in these services.
Get the chance to combine your studies with high-level football training, helping you develop both technically and physically while staying on track academically. You’ll compete in top leagues and play against professional clubs, with opportunities to earn trials and showcase your talent.
