Accounts Administrative Assistant Apprentice

Reporting to the Business Administration Manager, the purpose of this role is to ensure the timely and accurate allocation and collection of all hospital debts. This involves liaising with Heads of Departments, medical insurance companies, patients, and credit control agencies.

Supporting the administrative procedures of the department and the finance processes of the Hospitals, your duties will include;

  • Answering phone calls.
  • Liaising with our external Debt Collection Agency.
  • Using our in-house systems: SAP ISH (billing), SAP S4 Hana (Accounts) and Maxims (EPR system).
  • Dealing with confidential medical information.
  • Adhering to GDPR regulations and to Ramsay policies and procedures.
  • Completing financial tasks and procedures as required.
  • Undertaking reasonable training and development to retain and improve existing skills.
     

The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Work collaboratively and cooperatively with all members of the team. 
  • Work within Ramsay financial policies and procedures.
  • Treat all customers with respect and equality whilst meeting all aspects of our services in a timely and professional manner.
